I am Director of the Centre for Urban Research on Austerity at De Montfort University in Leicester, UK. See http://cura.our.dmu.ac.uk for further information about the Centre. I am a political sociologist, studying urban governance from a Gramscian point of view.

I am about to enter my sixth year of service on the UAA Governing Board and I currently chair the UAA publications committee.
